The Find-A-Grave memorial states Aaron and Mary J. Updike had a chilld named "Orare" Updike. It would be more accurate to say that they had a child named Ora R. E. Updike. She later dropped the first of her two middle names and became Ora E. Cooper (Updike), my grandmother.
