Abigail Hill was born 21 Jul 1670 in Salem, Massachusetts. There hasn't been an actual death date found for her, but she was still alive in Salem in 1749.

Abigail was the eighth child of Zebulon Hill, Cooper b abt 1621 in Bristol, England, d 1699 in Salem, Massachusetts and Elizabeth Dyke who d abt 1690.

Married:

Abigail was married to Joseph Allen, joiner in Salem, Massachusetts by 1696. He was baptized 6 Jan 1677-8 in Salem. He died 19 Apr 1740.

There is a century old assumption that this Abigail was the wife of "Ebenezer Allen" and unfortunately has been carried on by some researchers.

6. Abigail b 3 June 1705 in Salem; m Jonathan Archer, Jr, of Salem 30 Jan 1728. They were both living in 1749.
7. Zebulon baptized 15 Sep 1706; m widow Sarah Ellinwood of Beverly.
8. Robert b in Salem; m Rebecca Phillips of Salem 3 Dec 1741.
9. Bethia b in Salem
10. Elizabeth baptized 3 Oct 1714 in Salem; d in Salem unmarried 31 Oct 1798.
