She was born 1642 in Newbury, Essex, Mass, and died August 12, 1712 in Newbury, Essex, Mass. He married (2) SARAH CLEMENT ROWLANDSON BOND August 15, 1713 in Newbury, Essex, Mass. Abraham(2) Merrill (Nathaniel(1)) was born in 1636 or 1637 in Newbury, MA., and died nov 28, 1722. He was a weaver and lived in the north part of the town (now West Newbury) near the mouth of the Artichoke River. He was a deacon of the Congregational Church in Newbury, and was active in the party opposing Rev. Thomas Parker being one of the founders of the Epicopal Church. He married (1) 18 jan 1560/61 , Abigail Webster, daughter of John and Mary (Shatswell) Webster of Ipswich, who died 12 aug 1712, aged 70, and (2) in September 1713, Sarah Bond of Salisbury (widow), daughter of Robert Clements of Haverhill.

Abraham, second son and child of Nathaniel

and Susanna (Jordan) Merrill, was born

about 1636, probably in Newbury, and was a weaver

by occupation, residing in that town. He subscribed

to the oath of allegiance there in 1678. He was married January 18, 1661, in Newbury, to Abigail, daughter of John and Mary (Shatswell) Webster, of Ipswich . In 1674 Abraham Merrill and wife were members of the Newbury church, of which he was deacon. Both were living in 1712. Their children were: Abraham, Abigail, Mary, Elizabeth, Hannah, John, Jonathan, David, Sarah, Susanna and Prudence.
