This is the earliest photo (at the moment) of the famous Mogendorff family reunions held every year on Nathan and Jetje Mogendorff's marriage date. All of their children (and partners) used to come together once a year around 25 of May and met for a whole day at the Interlapin offices in Gouda (no grandchildren were allowed to participate until the 50's). Reunions were continued on an irregular basis until recently by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
This photo is an example of a reunion after Nathan and Jetje have passed away and is of special value because it is the last photo to my knowledge of all children together - one of them was arrested as a jew in September 1939 on a regular business journey for Interlapin to Germany and never came back !
