Agate, born on 07.12.1904 in Kolomea, Galicia, married Gerschon Willner in Leipzig on 4.03.1932 . Shortly after their wedding the couple moved to Leibnitzstraße 7. In Leipzig their two sons were born - Manfred Mendel and Leopold Berthold. On 15.02.1939 Gerschon Willner and his family moved to Antwerpen, Belgium. Gerschon was captured and sent to Auschwitz, where he was murdered.

In Belgium she met who was to become her second husband, Belgium born Nathan Klempert. They moved to the USA with her two sons.
