1746. Andriesz (Harmanus) states that his wife's Mother, named Cornelia, daughter of Nansane of the Cape, is still a slave in the Company's lodge ; he wishes to see her liberated, as she is old and weak, and therefore asks the Council to comply with his request, offering in exchange f 100 Indian valuation.
