This is were confusion begins when researching your ancestors. The person referencing the data 's intentions are good, but does not realize the confusion this creates. great mind experiencing example for me-------> same thing happened with others in my ancestry, (GREAT EXAMPLE) was my great-grandmother helen smith . i hit a block because someone had attached her husbands first name at the end her last name. so she was referenced as helen smith andrew. with that information, for a while, this is what i was believing, that helen smith andrew married andrew noble morgan.( my great -grandfather).if i had been paying attention, i probably could have avoided this frustrating error. the rest is history.
