   Sir Alexander Culpeper 9b

   He was born about 1479. His will was probated 21 January 1541. He inherited Bedgebury in Goudehurst, county Kent. He was knighted by King Henry VII. He first married Agnes, daughter of Roger Davy. They had a daughter, Alice, who married Sir Adam Newington, county Sussex. His second wife, Constantina, daughter of Sir Robert Chamberlin of county Sussex. They had five daughters and three sons. The oldest and the youngest was named Thomas. John died young.
