Alexander Quesenberry enlisted in the Virginia Infantry from Lee County, Virginia on July 15, 1861 at age 19. He was a private in the 48th Virginia Regiment, company G. He served under Colonel John S Campbell and Captain Elbert S. Martin. Andrew L. Bolling was 2nd Lt. The 48th Virginia Regiment was under the command of General Stonewall Jackson.
Alexander was killed in action by a shell at Chancellorsville during the Civil War.
