Allen Carter Grant, son of Allen Carter Grant and Charlotte Stinson, was born in Prospect, Waldo Co., Maine on Aug. 1, 1832. He married with CALISTA A. COON, dau. of James Coon and Susannah B. Baker. He died Apr. 6, 1865 in Virginia and is buried at ARLINGTON NATIONAL CEMETERY, Sec. 13, grave 10091, Arlington, Arlington Co., Virginia. He was with the 6th Regt., Wisconsin Infantry.
Children were: Susannah (9/24/1864-5/10/1941; m. John Ephraim Smart) and James Bradbury (4/12/1858-8/29/1945; m. Cora Lynn MacDonald).
