The Book of McKee lists Anabel as a widow with three sons who assist Robert the Bruce and are given property in Kirkcudbright; sons are M'Kie, M'Clurg, and Muiredach from her several husbands, according to History of the House and Clan of Mackay, pg 36 - so M'Clury could have been by a husband of that name - the sons could have been called by the surnames of their fathers.
