Andrew Archer was born on August 2, 1659. He married Elizabeth Dashwood, daughter of Sir Samuel Dashwood. They had Diana, Thomas, Henry, Anne, Elizabeth and Sarah. Andrew also served in Parliament as the member for Warwick. In 1711, he was appointed to a commission to inquire into the number and quality of Her Majesty’s forces in Portugal. Andrew died on December 31, 1741.
