"Andrew Jackson3 Gastineau was born 1823(?) Pulaski County, Kentucky [Pulaski County, Kentucky, Deed Books, Book 6, pp. 463-64]. The 1850 census says he was born in Indiana, but this must be wrong! He appeared on the 1850 census in Stockton Township, Greene County, Indiana, p. 359, 68/165:
[NOTE: Both actually were born in Greene County; they were living & working land just down the road from the family farm.].
He appeared in the 1860 census listing of James Gastineau in Stockton Township, Greene County, Indiana [p. 509].
He appeared in the 1870 census listing of Oliver Perry McKissick in Stockton Township, Greene County, Indiana [p. 437]."
