Family stories - - Anton was a very strict man - The children used to pull pranks when their parents went to town and Anton would spank them when he returned. So Anton started spanking them every time he came home - he would say "I know you have done something wrong so I'll spank you now and then find out what you have done". - Several times a year, Anton, would drive his team of horses into Pipestone and get drunk. The bartenders would put him in the wagon and the horses would take him home. After he got home he would break up the furniture. - He had many horses, sometimes as many as 86

The Brig Tuskar set sail on 21 March 1846 for the voyage across the ocean and arrived at New Orleans ,LA seventy-one days later.
