Arline E. Thompson, the oldest daughter of Robert F. Thompson I and Margaret Dutcher Thompson, was born September 30, 1891 in Cherry Valley, NY.

Arline was a member of the Bethlehem Quota Club.
Killed in a car-train collision on the way to a Bethlehem Quota club dinner at Hotel Bethlehem. Also killed in the car was Dorothy Hawk. Arline was first vice president of the club. Alma Knappenberger and Gizella Keiser were also in the car and were seriously injured.
Either first or middle name was "Esther", most likely named for Robert's mother.
