(dusia kretchmer:) divon hi, that's true, nanik is yochanan named after his grandfather. abram kretchmer ,naniks father, was named after his grandfather abram was the rabby of antokol a suburb of vilnius. he was married to a decendant of the gaon me vilna i think nanik has his family tree. anyhow he was reburried in the jewish cemetary in vilnius. thanks for your efforts!
