CAMPBELL RITES PENDING AT CENTER

Center, Mo. -- Funeral arrangements for Barney Campbell, 89, who died Sunday at 4:30 p.m. at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Roy Milam, are pending at the Wilkey Funeral Home.

Mr. Campbell was born in Marion county, Mo., on Dec 22, 1872, the son of Joseph and Mary Hatton Campbell.

He had lived in Pike and Ralls counties most of his life.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Roy Milam, Center, and Mrs. Joseph Kuda, Perry, Mo.; two sons, Sherman and Harold Campbell, Center, Mo.; two grandchildren, Roy Lee Milam, Center and Mrs. Melvin Jarris, Tulia, Tex.; and one great-grandchilld, Vicki Harris, Tulia, Tex.

I. B. CAMPBELL DIES AT CENTER

Isaac Barney Campbell, of Center, passed away at 4:30 p..m. Sunday, January 21, 1962, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Roy Milam. He was born in Marion County, Missouri on December 22, 1872 and was past 89 years of age. He was a son of Joseph and Mary Haton Campbell and had lived in the Madisonville community nearly all of his life. He had engaged in farming until his retirement. He joined the Providence Baptist Church at the age of 16. He was united in marriage to Miss Ethel Gay on December 9, 1909 at New London and she passed away on December 6, 1949.

The following children survive: Mrs. Roy Milam, Sherman Campbell and Harold Campbell, of Center, and Mrs. Josephine Kuda of Montgomery City. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Mrs. Melvin Harris of Tulia, Texans and Roy Lee Milam, Center; and one great-granddaughter, Vicki Harris of Tulia.

One daughter, Mrs. Esther Pearl Mudd, passed away June 9, 1954, and one granddaughter, Judith Milam passed away February 25, 1946.

Mr. Campbell was the last member of his family.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 at the Center Christian Church with Rev. C. D. Hamilton of New London officiating. Burial was in Center cemetery. Music was furnished by Mrs. A. B. Chenoweth at the organ and duets by Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Cornelius. pallbearers were E. H. Osterhout, Arthur Klise, O. L. Walkup, C. H. Hulse, W. A. Hickerson and Earl Lynn.
