TITLE: Baron of FERNIEHURST

NOTE:

Thomas (3rd son), initially of Smailholm, later of Ferniehirst; in 1483 exchanged Smailholm for Crailing and Hownam with John Home of Whitrig; married Margaret, daughter and heiress of Sir Thomas Ker of Ferniehirst, which he thus acquired, holding it from the Earl of Angus. [Burke's Peerage] -------------------- Thomas Kerr lived at Smailholm, Berwickshire, Scotland. He lived at Ferniehirst, Midlothian, Scotland.

He died after 24 June 1484.
