Bertha Wild (nee Engelmann) was born 8 March 1853. In Bruehn (Brno: Czechoslovakia ,originally in Moravia which today with Bohemia makes the Czech. Republic) In the Israelitische Kultusgemeinde Wein her birthplace is recorded as Eibenschutz (Mahren).
Her parents were: Abraham Englelmann and Rosi Engelmann (nee Lustig)
She married Ignatz Nathan Stiassny on 24 October 1880 in the Vienna Leopoldstrasse Synagogue.
She was married to Nathan Ignaz Stiassny Wild and had two children, a daughter Paula Kux ,who immigrated to Australia in 1938, and one son Robert Wild who was transported from Vienna on June 2nd 1942 to a killing site at Maly Trostinec/Trostinet outside of Minsk in Belorus where he and hundreds of other Jews were shot.
Bertha died 3 June 1921. Bertha is buried in Vienna Central Cemetery 5b, row 5, #25.
