About Bethuel / בתואל .
Bethuel was Abraham's nephew, as son of Abraham's brother Nahor, and was also Abraham's great-nephew through his mother Milcah, who was daughter of Abraham's other brother Haran. Bethuel was born after Isaac. Bethuel is also referred to as "an Aramean". It is elsewhere stated that the family of Bethuel were idolators.
