Since Abraham Gordon lived in Brooklyn, I tend to favor Betty Krutchik. This would mean son George was born in 1937, a few months before his father died of TB.

There are 21 Abraham Gordons in the marriage register in the period 1930-37, but only 2 marrying Bettys. We know that Abe was still living at home in 1930 (age 23) thanks to the 1930 census.
