About Beulah Blauche Little (Yarnell)

" Grandma Beulah was a strong Quaker. (At The Friends church in Jamestown, Ohio) (where) I went to church with her quite often when I was growing up and one time my friend went with me and we got to giggling, boy did I get in trouble".--Pam Boland

She graduated from Jamestown High School in 1911, and was a member of the Eastern Star and the Jamestown Friends Church.

Keith Little adds: According to Gladys Blakely, a friend of the family, Beulah, received a letter from her son Warren Little, serving in the Army Air Corp, stationed at the time in England in May of 1944. Warren told her that he was baptized by immersion by a Church of Christ Chaplain. On hearing the news, she went to the Jamestown Church of Christ the following Sunday, went forward at invitation time, was baptized by immersion. She went back to the Friends (Quaker) Church the following Sunday and did that until her health prohibited her to worship there. (The Jamestown Church of Christ official records do not have record of the event. But Gladys Blakely was very insistant that Beulah did this). Praise the Lord!
