Bridget Robinson bapt. Jan. 25, 1606/7 at St. Peter Hungate Church at Norwich, England. She was twice married in Holland. She m. 1) Rev. John Greenwood at Leiden May 26, 1629 and had at least one child, daughter Maria Greenwood. It is believed that for a period of time Greenwood was the successor of his father-in-law Rev. John Robinson's congregation at Leiden, but did not have the same capability as his former father-in-law. Bridget m. 2) July 25, 1637, purportedly at Amsterdam, William Lee, son of the widow Joos (i.e., Josephine) Lee and had at least one child, daughter Martha Lee. Bridget was alive and living at Leiden in 1680 and her two daughters were still alive at Leiden in 1684.

Some speculate that Bridget Robinson's second husband was a sibling of Bridget Lee, the third wife of Dr. Samuel Fuller. Dr. Fuller sailed on the Mayflower in 1620. In addition, that William Lee was the sibling of Triphosa Lee, the wife of Stephen Tracy, who arrived at Plymouth, Mass. in 1623. Further, that he was the brother of Samuel Lee of Leiden, who was thrice married and had considerable interaction with several of the known members of Rev. John Robinson's church at Leiden. However, there is no concrete evidence that supports these speculations, although the memorialist believes it is not improbable that William and one or more of the three other Lees were related in some manner.

[The documents that detail the above dates and detail at Leiden were formerly part of an on-line multi-page searchable file with the Leiden Archives. When the archive's separated documents concerning the Mayflower Pilgrims to a separate entity the on-line file was either deleted or is no longer available. Fortunately, the memorialist copied the entire file and the Dutch and English translation of the associated documents.]
