According to John Osborne Austin's Genealogical Dictionary of Rhode Island, there were 2 Caleb Carrs, who were contemporaries and both lived in Jamestown.
Caleb, born 23 Aug 1657, was the son of Caleb and Mercy of Newport, and married Deborah Sayles. They had children:
Caleb, in his will, dated 5 Jul 1700, proved 6 Nov 1700, leaves a legacy to his wife Deborah.
