Capt. William Christopher Bryan was the husband of Mary Boone, the sister of famous frontiersman, Daniel Boone. He was also the great-great grandfather of William Jennings Bryan "The Great Commoner", Secretary of State and four time nominee of the Democratic Party for the office of President of the United States. (b.1860 - d.1925).
