Zenas Winslow; residence, Harwich; engaged for town of Harwich NAVAL Forces- French & Indian War- Ships Manifest Noted "Abijah Bangs"Benjamin Bangs as a hand on a whaling schooner of Harwich skippered by Judah Hopkins. Scotto Clarke, Elisha Clarke, and David Quansett were "ends men", Peres Bangs was "ship keeper", and Samuel Sears, Jr., Nathaniel Cahoon, John Cahoon, Abijah Bangs, Amos Lawrence, Micah Ralph, and John Sequattom were hands. The ship was on a successful whaling voyage to Canada River (now St. Lawrence River).
