Notes

• John Fox was at one time a merchant-captain of London, as was shown by legal document of date September, 1713. He was Lieutenant of the Militia of King and Queen County between 1701/02 and owned 600 acres in King William County in 1704. He bought a lot in Delawaretown fronting on the Pamunkey River in June 1707.
