Captain Thomas Innis Farrar was born on 17 June 1896 at Guyana.
He married Lady Sidney Mary Catherine Anne Hobart-Hampden, daughter of Sidney Carr Hobart-Hampden-Mercer-Henderson, 7th Earl of Buckinghamshire and Georgiana Wilhelmina Haldane-Duncan-Mercer-Henderson, on 14 January 1924.
He died on 21 October 1934 at age 38.
He was the son of Rt. Rev. Walter Farrar and Alice Bridges.
He fought in the First World War, in France and Mesopotamia.
He was decorated with the award of Military Cross (M.C.) (for gallantry at Kut, where he was wounded) on 17 May 1917.
He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 5th Battalion, Devonshire Regiment and Machine Gun Corps.
