Master hatter 1765. Bourgeois 1765-05-25. Left Uppsala, Sweden heavily indebted during 1769, attended a baptism as a witness in Saint Petersburg, Russia in August the same year. Started a hat factory in Saint Petersburg c. 1774 with imperial privileges. Churchwarden (usher, Swedish: kyrkvärd) in Santa Catarina parish, Saint Petersburg 1783-87. Died, probably in Moscow, by the end of 1805. The wife is titled widow at 1806-07-08.
