Married September 7, 1865 Montgomery Co., Oh to Fred Hemmerick born April 22, 1844, died December 21, 1924. Both buried at Ithaca Cemetery. They lived on the original property John Shilt bought from the government when he came to Ohio. The property was sold in 1915. They had nine children, three sons and six daughters.
