21114- 6. iii. Judge Joseph Lyman b. Oct. 27, 1767, m. Jan. 10, 1792, Elizabeth Fowler, b. Feb. 1, 1772 (dau. of Hon. Saml. Fowler, of Westfield); she d. July 16, 1808, and he m. Oct. 27, 1811, for 2d wife, Ann Jean Robbins, b. July 3. 1789 (dau. of Lt. Gov. Joseph Robbins, of Milton, and Ann Jean, his wife). He was grad. at Yale, in 1783, a lawyer at Northampton, and . judge of probate. He d. there Dec. 11, 1847, aged 80.

21117- 8. i. Elizabeth Lyman b. Oct. 16, 1792, m. Sept. 12, 1814, Samuel Henshaw, of Boston, b. April 22, 1789 (son of Judge Samuel Henshaw, of Northampton, and Martha, "Patty," Hunt). They had 5 children : Samuel; Joseph, Lyman; Ann Brooks; John Hunt; and Francis.

21119. ii. Edmund Dwight Lyman b. Nov. 20,1795, d. June, 1834, without issue, on his return from China.

21120. iii. Frances (" Fanny") Fowler Lyman b. Aug. 31, 1797, d. Jan. 11, 1809, while at Med ford, Mass., at school.

21121- 2. iv. Judge Samuel Fowler Lyman b. May 3, 1799; is now (1870), and has been for many years judge of probate of Hampshire Co., Mass., at Northampton. He m. Nov. 27, 1824, Almira Smith b. July 29, 1799 (dau. of Benjamin Smith of Hatfield, Mass., and Lois Warner). His children are: Elizabeth, James Fowler, and Harriet Willard.

21123- 4. v. Mary Lyman b. March 27, 1802, d. at Amherst in 1834. She m. Thomas Jones of Enfield, Mass. Their children were: Thomas Jones, Joseph Lyman and William Green Jones.

21125- 6. vi. Jane Lyman b. April 22, 1804, m. Stephen Brewer of Northampton: a manufacturer. He was drowned Aug. 17, 1842. Their children were: Hannah Elizabeth, Frances, and Jane.
