About Charles Baker

Baker, Charles, Boston, p. o. North Boston, was born February 1, 1828, and is a son of Isaac and Elizabeth (Jones) Baker.

Charles Baker married in 1849 Samantha Paxson, and they have four children: Charles F., Herbert E., Minerva E. and Adelbert I. Mr. Baker worked at the carpenter's trade for about fifteen years and then engaged in farming, in which he has been very prosperous. He has served with credit as supervisor for two terms in Boston, and is a member of the A. O. U. W., having filled the office of master workman with honor to himself and satisfaction to the order.
