Charles Parker Galpin (1880-?) He was on the U. S. S. Maine when it was blown up in Havana Harbor leading to the Spanish-American War of which he was a Veteran. He survived. "Remember the Maine" was the battle cry during the War. He was stationed in the Philippines (1900).
