I have heard that Charles W. Clark and wife Narcissa built a log cabin in Hopkins County KY and because it was still winter, they did not put a door in the cabin but dug a pathway underground to enter the cabin. When spring came they cut a door and windows in the cabin. I have information indicating that Charles W. Clark operated a sawmill near Nortonville, Kentucky and also made some nice furniture.
