Charlotte M.. Baldwin, dau. of Horace Baldwin and Maria Wallace, was b. July 7,1832 in Baldwinsville, New York; m. with FREDERICK ALLEN RICE, b. 1830 in Springfield, Mass. He d. suddenly on Apr. 6,1901 in Houston; she d. there Dec. 29,1906. Both buried at Glenwood Cemetery, Houston.
Children were: Jonas Shearn (1855), William Marsh (1857-1944), Charlotte "Minnie" (1859-1925), Horace (1861), David (1863-1938), Fred A.(1868), Lillian (1871), Benjamin Botts (1872-1958), and George C. (1874-1916).
