Chaya Mayerova, fourty eight year old Jewess, was arrested and shot on 19 February 1942 for giving a non Jewish worked in her camp a piece of cloth in exchange for a two kilogramme bag of flour.
The Jews of Dvinsk were assembled in order to witness the execution.
