About Christopher Smith

Christopher SMITH, m. 3 May 1624, Burnley Parish, ENG, to Elizabeth HALSTEAD, b. bef. 1599, nee TOWNLEY, d/o Lawrence and Jennet (HALSTEAD) TOWNLEY, d. c 1675/5.

Elizabeth TOWNLEY m. 1st., 1 May 1616, Richard HALSTEAD of Windlehouse.

In her will written 28 Jan 1675/6, and probated 5 Jan 1670/80, she names all five sons, John, Lawrence, Christopher, Richard, and Thomas, Elizabeth SCARBOROUGH of Summerhouse, County York, and Blanche SMITH (d/o John SMITH), bapt. 7 Mar 1651/2.
