Hi Kurt

I don't know if I'm a descendent of Joseph Garnsey. I do know that my maternal grandmother's maiden name was Clara Louise Newton Garnsey. She was born 8/27/1881. She married an Arthur Lemuel Washburne. Her father was Erasmus Darwin Garnsey in New York. He had several other children besides Clara. There was Everett, Bertha and one or two others (whose names I don't know, but can probably find out from an Aunt.

Do you know if Erasmus Darwin Garnsey is related in any way to your Joseph?

Are you aware of any other forums that I could check to see if someone else has his ancestory?
