Info added per DAR's "Lineage Book of the Charter Members" by Mary S Lockwood and published 1895 states:

"Thomas Blackburn, aid to Gen. Washington, wounded at Branywine."

Brief Biography

Thomas Blackburn was born 1742 in Rippon Lodge, Prince William Co., VA where he died Oct 27, 1807. He married Christian Scott 1782 in Fairfax Co., VA. Thomas served in the Revolutionary War as Aide De Camp to George Washington, and was a member of the Virginia Convention in 1775. He was wounded at the battle of Germantown, PA. (1)
