Conrad REICHSWICK served one year in the Revolutionary War. He enlisted near Easton, PA in 1776 in the company commanded by Captain Marcus Craig of 2nd Penn Regiment. He was in the Battle of the Fleare River in Canada. He was discharged at Ticonderoga.
In his Revolutionary War Pension file he states in 1820 that "I received no pension from the state of Pennsylvania or any other state... I am by trade a shoe-maker and weaver, but am unable to follow either of them by reason of age and infirmity and am unable to earn a living by reason thereof I have living with me my wife Mary age 55 years and five children, the eldest a daughter 22 years, a boy 19 years, and one other boy the youngest 16 years.
