CENTER MAN DIES IN AUTO ACCIDENT

Harold (Corky) Campbell, 43, was killed Sunday morning, December 4, 1966, about 10 a.m. when his automobile apparently skidded on the icy road causing him to strike a bridge on Kelly Hill south of Center on Route H and P.

He had been reared in the Center community and was an employee of the Poage Implement Company.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Center Christian Church with the Rev. Harold Bruce officiating. Burial was in the Center Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Bob Poage, Melvin Six, Robert Schaffer, Taylor Rhodes, Cliff Avery and Jack Hancock. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Evans were vocalists accompnaied by Mrs. EArl Huse.

He was born January 7, 1923, in Pike County, the son of Barney and Ethel Gay Campbell.

Survivors include one brother, Sherman CAmpbell of Center and two sisters, Mrs. Roy Milam of Center and Mrs. Josephine Kuda of Denever. Colo.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
