Resided at Hurley; his will of June 18, 1832, mentoines sons Cornelius, Christopher, Phillip, and William decased adn the four children of deceased daughter Catharine, late wife of Ten Eyck De Witt.
At the outbreak of hte Revolution, he was commissioned, Oct 25 1775, Cornet of Kingston company of Horse, commissioned Lieutenatn June 16, 1778, and captain October 23, 1779. this company was atahced to the First , or Northern regiment, Ulster county, New York Militia.
