Cwajga Blum was forty one years old when she danced in front of barbed wire fencing as ordered by the German sentry.

When she had finished dancing the sentry 'shot her dead at point blank range'.

The Holocaust - Martin Gilbert page 151 -------------------- Cwajga Blum was mentally ill. She was forty one years old when she died on 21 April 1941.

She was often seen at the Lodz Ghetto's edge, and was one day ordered by the German sentry to dance in front of the barbed wire. The Ghetto Chronicle recorded that ' After she had performed her little dance, the sentry shot her dead at nearly point-blank range'.
