Daniel Burr is the great grandson of Benjamin Burr one of the original settlers of Hartford, CT. Benjamin and his two brothers, Jehu (1600-1670) and Thomas, immigrated to the colonies from England. Jehue settled in Fairfield; there is scant information regarding Thomas.
. DANIEL (1700- ) Daniel married Violet Butler. They resided in the Windsor area.
Daniel (1700- ) and Violet had one child whom they named Daniel born about 1728. Although there is no record of either their marriage or deaths, Violet and her son Daniel were alive post 1763 based on his brother Samuel's will proved that year in which they are named beneficiaries.
