St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Newport, N.H., was selected for the Dec. 28, 2004 wedding of Daniel Richard Uhlenkott of Newport, and Miriana Kathrin Towne of Sunapee, N.H. Officiating at the ceremony were the Revs. Richard St. Louis of that church, Shawn Therrien of Claremont, N.H., and Ed Evans of Sunapee.

She is employed by Mount Royal Academy in Sunapee. She is a 1999 Sunapee homeschool graduate and attended Christendom College in Front Royal,Va. She is the daughter of Brian and Kathleen Towne of Sunapee. 

The bridegroom is the son of Charles and Kerry Uhlenkott of Cottonwood. He graduated from Immaculate Conception High School in Cheshire, Conn., in 1997, and from Franciscan University of Steubenville, Ohio, in 2002. He is self-employed as a carpenter in Newport.
