Miss K.M. Dent-Young
Married at South Parade
Two bridesmaids in amber ninon and three little children attended Miss Katherin Mary Dent-Young at St.. John's South Parade, Bath, on Wednesday, when she was married to Mr. Henry James Hippisley Stephens. The wedding, which was delightfully picturesque, was attended by many friends of both parties.

The bride is the youngest daughter of Mr and Mrs J Dent-Young of 55, Lyncombe Hill, Bath and the bridegroom the son of the Rev Herbert Hippisley Stephens (late Rector of Colerne, Wilts) of Avondale Cottage, Batheaston/

The wedding unites two families which are well known in Bath and district. Mt J. Dent-Young is the consulting engineer to the City Waterworks.
Mr T. H Reakes, the organist at St. John's played the Wedding March from Lohengrin as the bride entered the church and Mendelssohn's Wedding March as the couple left.

The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, was attired in a gown of ivory lave over charmeuse of the same tint. Her lace veil, which formed a train, was lent by her sister-in-law, Mrs A Dent-Young. She carried a bouquet of white carnations.

Attending her were her sister Miss Dent-Young and Miss Dorothy Nicholds, both of whom wore amber ninon with amber earings.

The three children were the bride's niece, Miss Mary Dent-Young and her nephews Master David Dent-Young and Master Robert Flexen.

Mr R. P. Northway, the well-known Somerset cricketer was to have been the best man, but as he was unable to be in Bath his place was taken by Mr. A. Dent-Young.
