His death was found recorded as follows: Lafayette Journal & Courier Monday Sept. 29, 1930 Lafayette, In. TWO DEATHS AT SOLDIERS' HOME - - - Daniel H. McKee, a Civil war veteran of company G. 33rd Indiana infantry, died Sunday at the Indiana state soldier's home of a cerebral hemorrhage. He was born April 23, 1847, in Greene county, Ind., and admitted to the home for the first time on September 19, 1901, Since that time he left the home and was re-admitted February, 1928. He is survived by his widow, who is a member of the home, and two daughters, Mrs. Lola Hubbard of Indianapolis and Mrs. Abbie Stuckey of Terre Haute. and one son, Ollie McKee, of Indianapolis. The body will be buried in the cemtery at the home.
