Hurst--At his home in North Salem, Wednesday morning, April 27, 1892, from heart disease, David Hurst, aged 66 years.

Deceased was born in Baltimore and in 1850 came to Oregon and settled in Douglas county. He lived there twenty-five years and then went to McMinnville. From there he went to Macleay and lived in that vicinity nine years. In 1855 he married Miss Margaret A. Whistler, and six children were born to them. Four died and the two living are George, of Salem, and Elden, a resident of Eastern Oregon.

The funeral will be held at Macleay Friday afternoon, April 29th, at 1 o'clock.
