David Josif Perlmutter is orginally from Ungary. During the war he spend some time in the prison of The Hague, where he shared his room with Friedrich Weinreb. In his book 'Collaboratie en Verzet, deel 2 ' , Weinreb writes about his stay with David Perlmutter until David was deported to Camp Westerbork.
