"(367) David Murray of Hattonknows, second son of Gideon (No. 362), born 10th May 1748; died 7th May 1794. Will recorded 27th February 1795 (Edinburgh). He was M.P. for Peebles 1781-90; and married, 8th October 1783, Elizabeth, daughter and co-heiress of Thomas Harley, fourth son of Edward, Earl of Oxford. She died 9th July 1824, leaving a son."
